New Concepts for Floating Residential Modules

New Concepts for Floating Residential Modules

The project aims to offer new alternatives for tourist accommodation in calm waters, both river and maritime. It presents a new concept of floating residential module, where the design is oriented toward a form of tourism deeply connected to nature, allowing users to step away from the fast-paced and noisy urban lifestyle and reconnect with their surroundings.

Although designed to be accessible to a broad audience, the project primarily targets adventurous users between the ages of 25 and 35 who are seeking an innovative holiday destination in harmony with nature. The interior of the main level is organized as an open rectangular space that integrates kitchen, living area, bathroom, and bedroom. The layout prioritizes natural light, long views, and a strong sense of spaciousness.

The furniture has been specifically designed for the project, including an armchair, sofa, coffee table, and terrace furnishings, reinforcing the overall formal and functional coherence of the proposal. Materials also play a key role, starting from a neutral base finish that conveys calmness and timelessness, complemented by three Color & Trim proposals that allow personalization of the product’s character: a green and relaxing version, a brighter and summery option, and a darker, more experimental aesthetic. Altogether, the project does not merely propose a housing solution, but an immersive experience where design, landscape, and wellbeing are integrated into a single cohesive concept.
