Packaging design to improve user experience and encourage the adoption of solid shampoo

This project develops a reusable packaging solution for solid shampoo aimed at improving the user experience and encouraging its adoption as a sustainable alternative to traditional liquid formats. The proposal addresses barriers such as lack of awareness, storage difficulties, and constant exposure to moisture by offering a retractable cylindrical system that protects the shampoo bar, allows it to be raised through a rotating mechanism, and applied directly to the hair.

The design incorporates a drainage system, removable caps, and a cord for safe transport, and is conceived for monomaterial production using PHA bioplastic. In this way, the packaging not only protects the product but also becomes part of its life cycle as a durable, functional element aligned with sustainability and waste-reduction principles.
