Painting tools for people with cerebral palsy
Enreda’t is a handcrafted piece created in collaboration with artisan Simone Simons, an expert in plant fibers. Inspired by the traditional “nassas” (fishing nets) of L’Albufera, this bag reinterprets these structures through the coiling technique, using raw esparto grass and recycled fishing nets as its main materials. The combination of these elements creates a contemporary bag deeply rooted in Valencian popular culture.
The project aims to highlight the intangible heritage of the Huerta Valenciana by merging design and traditional knowledge from a sustainability and circular economy perspective. The result is a functional object with a strong symbolic and narrative dimension, representing the connection between landscape, craftsmanship, and local identity.
