Brigitte Sauvage is a strategic designer whose professional trajectory is defined by the connection between design, innovation, and user value. She was partner and co–design director at ADN Design from 1990 to 2018, a period during which she contributed to the development of more than 400 products launched on the international market, consolidating a practice focused on user analysis and real-use experience.

Throughout her career, she has combined professional practice with teaching and knowledge transfer, collaborating as a guest lecturer in undergraduate and master’s programs related to product design, strategic design, innovation, and design management at institutions such as the University of the Basque Country, the University of Deusto, Mondragon University, and the Aragón Institute of Technology.

Committed to promoting design as a cultural and social driver, she co-founded Bilbao Design Academy, focused on coolhunting and emotional design, and actively participated in strategic initiatives supporting the creative ecosystem, including the candidacy of Bilbao for the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in the Design category.

Currently, she continues collaborating in European projects and initiatives that explore the transformative power of design, combining creative direction, mentorship, and intergenerational co-design practices. Her work reflects a vision of design as a tool for connecting people, knowledge, and future possibilities.
