Diana Sierra is a Colombian-American industrial designer, inventor with more than 20 patents, and recognized social entrepreneur. She is the Founder and CEO of Be Girl, a global social enterprise that is revolutionizing access to and education about menstrual health in Africa through design, innovation, and cross-sector partnerships. With more than 20 years of experience in industrial design, product development, and gender equity, Diana has built an entrepreneurial career that combines frugal engineering, accessible manufacturing, and public policy to transform the lives of women and girls in vulnerable contexts.
Under her leadership, Be Girl has:

Distributed more than 1 million reusable menstrual products in over 35 countries.

Educated more than 500,000 adolescents through youth-led menstrual health programs.

Co-created national menstrual health curricula adopted by the Ministries of Education of Mozambique, Angola, and Côte d’Ivoire.

Raised and managed over USD 7.2 million in investment capital, development funding, and philanthropy to expand access to menstrual health in some of the most challenging contexts in the world.
Her work sits at the intersection of industrial design, public health, and gender equity policy, addressing period poverty, stigma, and gender gaps through a user-centered innovation approach.
She currently leads the strategic expansion of Be Girl from Mozambique as a regional hub, driving government partnerships and large-scale impact models, always using design as a tool for equity, opportunity, and human dignity.

Inma Bermúdez is a leading industrial designer known for her sustainable approach and her ability to transform everyday objects. She founded her studio in Valencia in 2007 and, since 2009, has been working in collaboration with architect Moritz Krefter. In 2022, she received the National Design Award, consolidating her studio as a benchmark for innovation and creativity. Her work combines traditional craftsmanship with industrial design and ranges from everyday products to exclusive pieces. She has collaborated with global brands such as Marset, Roca, Audi, Lladró, and IKEA, with which she has worked since 2006. Among her most iconic designs are the Follow Me lamp and Nu, her most recent collaboration with Roca.

After graduating from Elisava with a degree in Industrial Design, she began her professional career as a product designer, developing her creativity and expertise through a wide range of projects. Four years later, she made the move into the automotive sector, joining AUDI in Ingolstadt, where she worked for three years. Her career then continued at BMW Designworks in Munich, where she took part in innovative boat design projects and product development for Coca-Cola. After four years in Germany, she joined SEAT/CUPRA, where for more than 17 years she has been a member of the vehicle interior design team, specializing in creating automotive spaces that combine aesthetics, technology, and emotion. Passionate about mentoring and promoting female talent in design, she shares her vision to inspire new generations of designers.
